These incredibly delicious Turkey Taco Bowls are so easy to make and are a staple in our household! The bowls are low-carb and perfect with toppings and for meal-prep. The cauliflower rice takes on the flavor of the seasoning and makes a great filling for the kids in their favorite tortillas.
Simple Ingredients to make Turkey Taco Bowl
- Avocado oil
- lean ground turkey
- onion
- poblano pepper
- Whole 30 compliant taco seasoning (I love Primal Palate, Siete)
- fire roasted diced tomatoes and chilis
- frozen cauliflower rice
Turkey Taco Bowls (Whole 30, Paleo)
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- 2 lbs lean ground turkey
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 poblano pepper, diced
- 1 Whole 30 Taco Seasoning Packet
- 1 15 oz. can fire roasted tomatoes and chilis
- 1 10 oz. frozen cauliflower rice
- fresh cilantro, topped
Additional Optional Toppings
- sliced avocados
- sliced jalapenos
- halved cherry tomatoes
- favorite cheese
Instructions
- Place a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground turkey to skillet and cook while breaking up with a wooden spoon until no longer pink.
- Add onion, poblano pepper and cook until soft. Add fire roasted tomatoes and chilis. Stir in taco seasoning and mix well.
- Add frozen cauliflower rice, mix, and continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Top with fresh chopped cilantro and your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
