Skillet Sausage and Peppers (Whole 30)
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 pre-cooked chicken sausage links, sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups Rao's marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced sausage and brown on both sides. Add sliced onion, bell peppers, garlic, Italian Seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook while stirring frequently for about 4-5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Add 2 cups of Rao's marinara sauce and stir. Top with fresh parsley and serve by itself or on top of cauliflower rice, mashed potatoes or your favorite pasta. Enjoy!
