Skillet Sausage and Peppers (Whole 30)

This Skillet Sausage and Peppers is so delicious and one of the easiest and quickest weeknight meals.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 pre-cooked chicken sausage links, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Rao's marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add sliced sausage and brown on both sides. Add sliced onion, bell peppers, garlic, Italian Seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook while stirring frequently for about 4-5 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  • Add 2 cups of Rao's marinara sauce and stir. Top with fresh parsley and serve by itself or on top of cauliflower rice, mashed potatoes or your favorite pasta. Enjoy!
