Whole 30 Spaghetti Meat Sauce

This simple Whole 30 and Paleo Spaghetti Meat Sauce is quick, heart, delicious and only has 5 ingredients.

Whole 30 Spaghetti Meat Sauce

This Whole 30 Spaghetti meat sauce recipe is my saving grace when I get home on busy nights and I need to come up with a healthy dinner in less than 30 minutes! All you need is 5 ingredients, ground beef (ground turkey is also great or ground meat of your choice), 1 whole yellow onion, 4 garlic cloves, Italian seasoning and a jar of Rao’s Marinara sauce (our favorite store-bought marinara sauce). If you happen to have some fresh basil on hand it gives the sauce an extra pop of flavor. This meal came about on a crazy week night after a soccer game and everyone was starving. The beef was still frozen but I threw it in the pan with some onion and garlic, added some Italian seasoning, a jar of literally the best Marinara sauce I have ever tasted (Rao’s), and finished with some fresh basil I had in my garden but if you don’t have that don’t worry about it, it is just as great without it! Tyler and I love it on spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles while the kids like it on regular spaghetti or any other pasta I have on hand. This recipe was made at least twice during every Whole 30 I completed and is awesome for meal prep over a baked potato, sweet potatoes, or spaghetti squash making it the perfect weeknight meal. Making a big batch is also a great idea and perfect for lunches throughout the week. You can keep store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
