This easy ground turkey taco bowl has all the flavor of a delicious taco but without the carbs!

Ground Turkey Taco Bowl

I absolutley love tacos. Every Tuesday if you come at my house you will be served some sort of tacos. These Turkey Taco Bowls are a favorite because they are customizable and everyone can add their favorite toppings. The taco meat is made with simple pantry seasonings and placed on my Mexican Cauliflower Rice with all the colorful toppings to make this easy Tuesday night dinner. Turkey Taco Bowls that are low-carb and so flavorful!

Simple ingredients I use to make Turkey Taco Bowls (Paleo, Whole 30)

  • avovado oil or extra virgin olive oil
  • lean ground turkey
  • chili powder
  • oregano
  • cumin
  • paprika
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • sea salt
  • can tomato sauce
  • chicken broth
  • Mexican Cauliflower Rice
  • red onion, chopped
  • avocado, diced
  • tomatoes, diced
  • cilantro, chopped
  • radishes, sliced
  • shredded cheese (optional)

Turkey Taco Bowl (Paleo, Whole 30)

This easy ground turkey taco bowl has all the flavor of a delicious taco but without the carbs!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp avovado oil or extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 lbs ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Mexican Cauliflower Rice

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 16 oz riced cauliflower
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth

Taco Bowl Toppings

  • red onion, chopped
  • avocado, diced
  • tomatoes, diced
  • cilantro, chopped
  • radishes, sliced
  • shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

Taco Meat

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and start cooking while breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
  • Once meat is almost browned add chili powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, tomato sauce and chicken broth. Stir well until combined and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until all liquid is absorbed.

Mexican Cauliflower Rice

  • Set a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Add the onion and cook until soft (about 5 minutes). Add garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the cauliflower rice, tomato sauce, and broth. Cook and stir frequently until the liquid is all gone about 5-10 minutes.

Taco Bowl Assembly

  • Place your cauliflower rice on the bottom of the bowl. Add your taco meat, tomatoes, onion, avocado, radishes, and cilantro. You can also add cheese if you would like and it does not bother you. Enjoy!
