Slow Cooker Brownies (Gluten Free)

Brownies are one of my very favorite indulgences.  I like them simple and classic without any type of nuts.  These slow cooker brownies are not fudgy but a little cake-like and chewy, but extremely delicious.  Easy to throw together while you run a few errands, get dinner done, or finish some chores around the house.

Ingredients:

½ cup melted butter

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

¼ cup sugar

2 tsp teaspoons vanilla extract

1/4 tsp cinnamon

2 eggs

1½ cups Almond Flour

⅔ cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Lightly coat a 4 to 5-quart slow cooker insert with cooking spray.

Place a piece of parchment paper, that is large enough to extend about 2-3 inches up the sides in the bottom of the crock pot.

Lightly spray parchment paper with cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, whisk together butter, cocoa, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and eggs.

Mix in almond flour and chocolate chips.

Pour batter into crock pot, smoothing out the top with a rubber spatula.

Cover and cook on LOW 3 1/2 hours. Uncover and continue to cook on LOW for 30 minutes.

Carefully lift out the brownies but pulling on the parchment paper.
Place on a cool surface and slice once brownies are cooled.

Enjoy!
