Add pasta to a large pot of boiling water and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Add oil to large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and saute for 4-5 minutes and then add minced garlic. Stir and cook for 1 more minute.
Add ground turkey, Italian sausage, and saute while breaking it up with a spoon or until meat is no longer pink. Add Italian Seasoning, salt, and stir.
Pour Marinara sauce over the meat and mix well. Simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
In a small bowl mix cottage cheese and 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese.
Add dollops of cheese mixture and mix in. Top with remainder Mozzarella cheese and cover to cook for 5 more minutes. Serve with fresh basil.
