Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and start cooking while breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
Once meat is almost browned add chili powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, tomato sauce and water. Stir well until combined and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed.
For the Avocado Lime Dressing
Add all of the dressing ingredients to a blender or a food processor and blend until smooth. Add additional water if dressing is too thick. You can store it in the fridge in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
For the Taco Salad
Start with your lettuce, add onion, jalapenos, tomatoes and any other toppings you like. Drizzle with the Avocado Lime Dressing or dressing of your choice.
